These Woodchip Gondolas are LARGE cars classed as GTS. Measuring 60.5ft long and 13.5ft high and reached a capacity 7500 cuft or 100 tons. They are a composite construction with the exterior steel H-Beam truss design and a plywood inner sides. These Gondolas did not have bottom doors as previous gons. Rather, they had a solid steel bottom and were exclusively rotary dumped.

Our model replicates the actual design by having a brass H-Beam truss frame, a metal floor and laser-cut and engraved plywood inner wall.
